Regarding expansion of collaboration with other organizations, TDMMO president stated that TDMMO and BHRC are to boost their cooperation in the exchange of seismic data, accelerators, landslides and other related issues.

In the meeting with the aim to review joint collaboration with Building and Housing Research Center (BHRC), Dr. Reza Karami Mohammadi said that considering capacities of TDMMO and BHRC in infrastructures and disaster management database, our joint cooperation will launch by signing an MOU.

TDMMO President added that he believes data and information exchange between two technical organizations should be without restrictions and all the disaster management related organizations should be able to utilize derived data and information from seismographs and accelerators based on protocols. Dr. Karami stated that in case of preparation of protocols, TDMMO is ready to make required infrastructures for exchange of data and information.

Also, in this meeting BHRC president, Dr. Shekarchizadeh said that BHRC has legal responsibility in accelerators issues and is able to submit very valuable information to related organization for both research and operations in the time of disasters. He added that BHRC is not an operational center in the time of disasters but can give required information to operational organizations and TDMMO in order to facilitate and accelerate the process of disaster management.

He reiterated that BHRC has 1200 accelerators around the country and that they are upgrading periodically.

In this meeting, Head of Risk and Earthquake Engineering Deputy of BHRC, Dr. Ali Beitolahi said that in landslides and faults zone issues, TDMMO efforts is of great importance at national level. He added that previously, we had several meetings with TDMMO on geological issues and many useful reports sent to Urban Planning and Architecture Supreme Council with utilization of Qanat maps that prepared by TDMMO,.
