In a meeting held in RCS, with presence of TDMMO President and some of the deputies and managers, joint cooperation between TDMMO and RCS has been emphasized.

In this meeting, Dr. Ali Nasiri, while congratulating the appointment of Dr. Hossein Kolivand as the head of the Red Crescent Society, emphasized on the continuation of joint cooperation in the field of education and training and the use of existing capacities in storing relief equipment in Tehran and explained the organization's new program for DAWAM Disaster Management Volunteers groups. He also offered joint action with the RCS to stockpile relief items at some of the capital's disaster management bases.

Following that Dr. Kolivand, Head of RCS also stressed the need for continuation of inter-organizational cooperation in order to increase Synergy, and referring to the joint organizational experience in the recent flood that has been occurred in some southern provinces of the country, described the measures taken in this flood as the peak of empathy and collaboration. He mentioned the expansion of public education and training and cooperation of RCS in this field as the goals of this said society.
