Tehran Earthquake Air Relief Joint Exercise held on March 13, 2022 in presence of Tehran Mayor, Dr. Alireza Zakani , TDMMO executive agents and other related organizations.

Regarding this joint exercise, TDMMO president, Dr. Ali Nasiri, said: Last year, the first earthquake air relief joint exercise was held in Tehran and this year we are witnessing the second one. This exercise is based on an earthquake disaster scenario with 6.5 magnitude in Richter scale, with the aim to improve synergy between relief organs for better operations in future disasters.

He added: due to the conditions of the city, it is envisaged that almost all major roads will be blocked. Therefore, the use of air facilities in assisting affected areas and people will be inevitable and this makes the coordination between related organizations necessary.

In conclusion, he noted, "Citizens of Tehran can rest assured that there are people in the city who are thinking about their safety even when there is no accident
